-Last month she was on a walk with her grandma, and Aubrey's pants kept slipping down. After a few times of pulling them up, she finally got annoyed and said, "(sigh) I have a skinny butt!"
- Last week I was fixing one of Aubrey's swimming suit. I held it up to her body to see if I had measured and pinned it right. The dull end of a sewing needle poked her a little bit, but nothing bad. She gasped and said, "Mom, just don't poke little girls!!!"
-One day when I put Aubrey down for a nap, I kissed her and told her not to cry when I leave. She sat up and said "I just want to cry in my bed."
-This one is kinda long, but a few days ago I was cleaning up Aubrey's toys. She didn't want me to put them away, so she kept telling me to stop touching her toys. I kept cleaning, then she walked over to me, put both her hands under my chin, and turned my head so I was looking directly into her eyes. She started talking in a tone of voice that sounded exactly like a grown up would. While still holding my chin in her hands, she calmly said, "I asked you not to touch my toys. Do you understand? Now go in the other room and watch a show."
-Today I scolded Aubrey for not listening, and she quickly replied, "Don't be a turd, Mom!" I had to call Mathis to find out if he said that around her, which he didn't but we later found out that she learned it from one of her friends she plays with. Little stinker!
