Update

Well, I've been trying for a couple of weeks now to upload photos, but for some reason, it's just not working. So, this will be another picture-less post.  We're leaving for our vacation tomorrow, so hopefully when I get back I can try more things and maybe get pictures working again.
Anyway, like I said, we're leaving tomorrow.  We decided to take Aubrey to Disneyland for her 3rd birthday!  She can hardly sleep, she's so excited.  That's all we hear about all day long is, "is it time to go to Disneyland?"  I think next time we go, we may consider making it a surprise, because the anticipation is hard for Aubrey. Lol.  We're driving to Vegas tomorrow, and will be there overnight at my parent's house.  Then we will be at Sea World for a day and a half, and head over to Disneyland on Saturday.  We've got reservations to eat lunch with the princesses on Aubrey's birthday (Monday), and she's really excited for the princesses to bring her a cake!  So, this trip will be way fun because its all about Aubrey.  It's really fun for us to watch her have so much fun!
We all had a really nice Christmas!  Aubrey got lots of toys, and understood the concept of Santa a little more.  I kind of feel bad about starting a lie that will go on for the next 5+ years, but apparently the Christmas spirit is to create a fictional man that children can fall in love with, only to crush them when their older by saying, "never mind...I was lying about Santa being real."  Oh well, it's fun for them while they believe.
So, that's what is going on with us. I'll post again when we get back from our trip!

Tyler

So, most of my posts have been about Aubrey, but today I'm blogging about little baby Tyler!  Yay!  He's getting bigger every day, and man...he is active!!!!  Last night he started kicking around 10pm and didn't stop until about 1:30am!  He kept me up that whole time.  I suppose he could have kicked even longer, but there was a lull in his kicks and I was finally able to fall asleep.  Apparently he's getting me prepared for all the sleepless nights I'm gonna have.  That's okay...it's worth it!

Just a couple more...

Today Aubrey's DVD player was skipping, she said, "OH NO!!!!! My DVD!!! This is a zaster!" (disaster)  That was the first time she's ever said disaster. :)

(Aubrey drank some root beer, then handed me her empty cup)

Aubrey: "Get me some 'nother" (another)
Mel: "You mean some more"
Aubrey: "No, just some 'nother.  Nother's a word. Get me some nother."

It's really funny to hear Aubrey say the word, "hospital."  She says it the same way every single time, and that's "hos-ta-bull."

More Aubrey-isms!

Lately, I've been reading little kid books with Aubrey about preparing for a new baby.  Aubrey knows that little babies sleep a lot, and nurse or drink bottles, they need to be held a lot, and need lots of attention from Mom and Dad.  So, I'm glad she's learning about what it will be like to have a little baby around.
Well, today as we were walking into Target, Aubrey was talking about Baby Tyler in my tummy, which was fine.  Then as soon as we got closer where there were some people around, she loudly proclaimed, "When I was a little baby, I drank milk out of my Mommy's body!"
After that, we had a little discussion about what we should and shouldn't tell other people. :)  She has also been asking me quite frequently, "Is your tummy getting bigger because there's a baby in it?"  I made sure that she was clear that this is a question she should only ask her mom.  Hopefully we can avoid that embarrassing moment. :)

So here's some other "Aubrey stories" from the past couple of weeks:

We were driving home a few days ago, and I had the heater on pretty high.  Mathis said, "You're trying to cook me!"  Aubrey got slightly concerned and said, "Daddy's not some dinner!!!! Mommy's not gonna mix up Daddy!!!!"

Another day while we were driving, Aubrey was playing quietly in her car seat, then all of the sudden said, "Mommy's baby is gonna turn into a dog!"  Hmmm...I'm sensing a little jealousy maybe? :)

Aubrey told me that she wants to go get Baby Tyler a Christmas present.  I said, "Okay, what do you want to get him?"  Her reply: "I'm gonna give Tyler a wipe and a binkie.  That's what his list is.  Now give me my list." (meaning the presents on her Christmas list).

Yesterday, I asked Aubrey if she needed to go potty.  She said, "No, I just did last week."

Aubrey found a shiny little toy and said, "Shiny things make girls happy!"  She's right on that one!

A couple days ago I was trying to get Aubrey to come wash her hands for lunch.  She wasn't listening, so I told her if she didn't come by the time I counted to three, she had to go to timeout.  I started counting, and she raced into the bathroom, then yelled, "DON'T COUNT!!!!!"  Then I said, "What should you do if you don't want Mommy to count?"  The answer I was going for was: "Listen to Mommy."  The answer she gave me: "Start yellin!"

The other day, Aunt Cindy was at our house and asked Aubrey if she could have a kiss.   Aubrey gave her a big kiss, then said, "I just have boog-ews (boogers) coming out of my nose."  We didn't realize her nose was a little runny, but it would have been nice of her to tell Cindy that before she slimed her! :)

One more...

So, after about five tries, I was able to get this picture posted (see previous blog entry).  There are still 2 more I want to post, but again...blogger is being retarded.  So here's a pic of my little angel (and only sometimes devil) girl!

Family Pic

Well, I've been trying to upload some pics for about a week now, and for some reason it's not working.  I tried to post a picture of the new van last week, but no luck.  Now I'm trying to put our new family pictures on my blog.  I got this one up, and none of the other ones will work.  Boo! Anyway, this was taken at Kiddie Kandids.  They did such a good job with Aubrey!  She smiled in every picture, and we got some really cute one of just her!  So, if the blogger site will ever start working right, then I'll post those too.  For now, here's a family pic.  (I know we'll have to update our family pictures in like 5 months now, but it's been a little while since we've had them, and I didn't want to NOT get them just because we have a baby on the way).

Now Guys...

So a couple days ago, Mathis and I were disagreeing about something.  It wasn't even an argument, but Aubrey is VERY perceptive.  She sensed the tension and said, "Now guys... we need to be nice to each other."  She had the funniest little tone of voice too, like a little mother scolding her children. :)  I guess grown-ups can learn a lot from their kids.  Thanks Aubrey...we will be nicer. :)

New Van!

We spent Thanksgiving with my family in Henderson this year.  It was a lot of fun, although Aubrey is still having "Grandma withdrawals."  For the past couple of months, we've been thinking of getting a car with more room for the new baby, but just haven't found the right deal.  We looked a little while we were in Vegas, and found the mini van we liked for the right price, so we drove home in a different car than we came in.  :)  That was fun!
I'm still kind of shocked that I actually convinced Mathis to get a mini van.  As long as I've known him, he's always sworn that he would never drive one.  He wanted a big souped-up SUV with a 10-inch lift, custom wheels, and a huge stereo system. (He still likes cars with lifts, but I guess he should have thought of that before he married someone who is only 5'1".)  Anyway, as we looked at SUV's and vans, mini vans were just a lot cheaper and get better gas mileage.  Plus, I love the automatic sliding doors that open with a remote, and I couldn't justify the extra cost of a Tahoe or Suburban.  Especially, since we have a big diesel truck that we can use if we ever need to tow anything.  Mathis agreed... we seem to be becoming more practical as we get older. hehe. :)  So, now we have a brand new silver Hyundai Entourage, and I love it!

Not Rapunzel!!!!

Yesterday, when I was doing Aubrey's hair for church, she told me that she wanted "Cinderella hair."  I finished and told her that she looked like a princess, but when she looked at her hair in the mirror, she got quite upset with me, saying, "That's not Cinderella hair!!!  That's Rapunzel hair!!!"  She's kind of high-maintenance for a 2- year-old.  I'm sure the teenage years will be a blast! :)  Anyway, I just thought it was funny that she cared so much about her hair. This is how it was (Rapunzel):

Aubrey wasn't backing down, but I wasn't going to redo her hair, so I clipped it up in a pile on her head, and she was finally satisfied with her "Cinderella hair." Then I just pulled the clip out for church.  What a silly kid!

Constellations

Today Aubrey was cute.  I was singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to her, and as soon as I finished she said, "I want to go see some constellations!"  I was surprised because that's a big word for a 2 year old. I've never taught her that word and Mathis said he hadn't either.  Then later this morning she said, "I need to get my space suit on and fly to outer space, so I can see all the constellations."  I realized it must be from Dora.  She's got a good imagination, so she tells really cute stories.  I love hearing what she comes up with!

It's a BOY!!!

Yay for little boys!  At first I was wanting another girl for Aubrey, but now that we know it's a boy, I'm super excited!  One of each will be fun!  I found out today and we went straight to go buy some blue outfits.  I'll have to buy all new baby clothes again, but no biggie...I love shopping for baby stuff!  So, that's our news for today.  As for names, I just don't know.  But I'm just really excited for April to get here.  I miss having a little baby around...they're so cute!

Aubrey.

A couple days ago, I was going through the Arby's drive-thru with Aubrey.  I told the lady at the window that I wanted Arby's and horsey sauce.  Aubrey heard me say horsey sauce, and started freaking out saying over and over "Little gills (girls) don't eat farm animals!"  She wouldn't stop saying that until I told her that the sauce was for us to feed to little horsies.  Silly kid. :)

A couple weeks ago, we went to test drive a couple mini vans. (We've been thinking about getting one, but still not quite sure).  When the salesman left to go get a key to the van, Aubrey was asking which van we were going to get in, and we told her we'd go in the white van.  Apparently she misunderstood, and started asking where there was a white man.  We corrected her, and thought nothing of it.  The when the salesman came back, we got in the white van, and not long after the salesman  got in, she asked, "Where's the white man? Where's a white man?"  The problem: our salesman was black.  We explained why she was saying that, and he laughed, but that was one of the times when I wished Aubrey didn't talk so much. :)

We drove past the temple, and asked Aubrey why the temple was special.  She said, "because Jesus lives there, and Grandpa paints it!"  That surprised us, because Mathis' dad does maintenance work there, but we never talk about that to Aubrey.  Guess she's more perceptive than we thought!

Disney on Ice!

Last Friday we took Aubrey to Disney on Ice, and she LOVED it!  Mathis, on the other hand, wasn't too thrilled about it, but he's a good dad and does lots of things like that for Aubrey.  Anyway, we took several pictures of Aubrey, but they all look about like this first pic.  We could NOT get her to look away from that stage. :)  She was glued the entire 2 hours.  So, I think we'll try to do something like this every year, if they come.  It was definitely a hit with Aubrey!

Baby Kicks!

So, this week I started feeling the baby kick...yay!  I'm at the end of my 16th week, so they are still not strong kicks, and I have to sit pretty still to even notice them, but it's really nice to feel the little baby moving around.  Yesterday, I told Aubrey that I felt the baby in my tummy kick, and she immediately flipped around and kicked toward my stomach (I caught her heel before she jabbed me).  Then she got really offended that I wouldn't let her kick me.  Hmm...I'm sensing that we may have to deal with some sibling rivalry when the new one arrives.  We'll see! :)

Halloween!

So here's some pics from Halloween!  Aubrey had a blast, of course, and loved dressing up like Sleeping Beauty.  These first few were taken at a trunk-or-treat.

She loves playing with Wyatt!!!

Sleeping Beauty and Handy Manny...how cute!

She wore this to her gymnastics class, because the kids were allowed to dress up, but her other costume was too poofy.  We bought this dress in Barcelona, when we were on our Europe trip.  It's much more sturdy than the cheap costumes we buy here.

This isn't a very good picture, but those are the pumpkins we carved.  Everything has to be princesses when Aubrey is involved, so I found some princess carving kits.  Fun!

Aubrey and Grandpa trick-or-treating on Main St.

This was the day after Halloween.  We went to Lagoon for the last time this season, because it's closing.  Aubrey screamed, as usual, on almost all the rides. :)

Pictures

Here are some pictures that I took in Vegas (mostly).  Aubrey had so much fun!  She loves being at Grandma Stiles' house, and lately she's gotten to be there a lot, so that's always fun!

We went to a reception, and I couldn't get Aubrey off the dance floor!  There was one song that came on that was a line dance.  It had a slow beat, and the words of the song were narrating what moves to do in the dance, so Aubrey was able to follow along surprisingly well.  I wish I had video, because it was so stinkin' cute!!!! Anyway, here's some pics of her dancing the night away!

Having fun with Grandma!

Here's a couple pictures of us with my Aubrey's great-great-grandma (my mom's grandma).  We don't know how much more time we will get with her, so I was glad to get some updated pictures of Aubrey with Grandma Elva.  The other little girl in the picture is my cousin, Amy.  Aubrey loves playing with her!

Having Fun in Vegas!

So, Aubrey and I flew down to Vegas on a couple days ago. We'll have spent a lot of time here in October, because Mathis drove down with us at the beginning of October. We weren't planning on that trip for very long, but Mathis had a seminar for work at the Luxor, and he figured it would be a good time to do my dad's bathroom remodel that they've been planning for quite a while now. So, we were here for 5 days, then I went home for a week, and flew back with just Aubrey on on Thursday the 16th (Mathis needed to work...darn). This trip is the one I've had planned for a while. One of my good friends from jr. high and high school will be in town. She lives in Michigan, so we thought it would be fun to meet in Vegas next time she visits her family, and we could let our kids play together. Anyway, that's why I'm here, so if there are any of my Henderson/Vegas friends who don't have many plans and wanna hang out, then call me! I'll be here until next Thursday.

Aubrey is having a good time here. She loves being with Grandma Stiles! She was cute today when I was putting her down for a nap. While I read her a book, she kept kicking my leg. Finally, I told her that if she didn't stop kicking my leg, I was going to put the books away and leave. She cocked her head to the side, like she was deep in thought, and said, "that makes sense...that really makes sense." :) Silly girl.

Well, I guess I don't have much to blog about today, so I think I'll go read "The Host" while Aubrey's still sleeping. I love Stephenie Meyers! Although, I'm at the very beginning of this one, and I must say, its slightly confusing. That's okay...I'm sure I'll get into it pretty fast. K, Bye for now!

Say What?

Here's some more of the crazy things my child has said over the past couple of weeks.  She keeps us laughing.  :)

Aubrey's suggestions for baby names:

Ferris wheel
Dolly-Doll
Sponge-Bob
Cindy (her aunt...I thought that was sweet)
Princess
Doo-Doo

I'm sure we'll get a lot more ideas from her, but somehow, I don't think Aubrey will be the one to choose the baby's name. ;)

Okay, I apologize in advance, because this one is slightly inappropriate, but I laughed. :) Mathis was putting together our new computer desk.  He was holding the drill, and when he turned to look at the directions, the drill was pointed right at me.  Aubrey saw this and asked, "Daddy, are you gonna screw Mommy?" Of course she meant that completely innocently, but it still made us chuckle to hear our 2-year-old ask us that question. :)

Last week Aubrey was frustrated with something, and came to me with the cutest little pouty face.   She stared up at me with those big blue puppy dog eyes and said, "I'm havin' a hawd (hard) time."

Aubrey was charging Mathis, and he stuck out his index finger and said, "no!"  Aubrey suddenly stopped and yelled, "Hey, don't put your finger at me!!!!"  I don't know how I got such a feisty little girl, but that's our Aubrey!

Last Saturday, we were cleaning out our travel trailer.  Aubrey was trying to go down the steps to the trailer.  I was watching her, and she was being very slow and cautious.  I could tell she was going to be just fine, but I heard her mumbling to herself over and over, "I'm not afwaid...I'm not afwaid...I'm not afwaid..."  :)

A lot of times when we ask Aubrey if she wants to do something, she replies in a really high pitched voice, "yeah suw! (sure)"  It's cute!

Aubrey wasn't wanting to sit and eat her dinner last time we ate dinner with Mathis' parents.  She wouldn't stay in her seat, so Cindy was helping Aubrey eat by holding up a bite of food, then asking, "What's this?"  Aubrey would say what it was, then eat it really fast.  Cindy held up a piece of roast beef and asked again, "What's this?"  Aubrey turned her little face away and said, "dog poop."  I seriously don't know where she comes up with these things, but we were laughing. :)

A few days ago, I handed Aubrey her breakfast.  She looked up at me with a bog smile and said, "Thanks lady!"  I laughed, then reminded her that my name is Mommy. :)

Yesterday, Aubrey brought me her 'My Little Pony' DVD, and said, "This is my fave-wit show! What's yours, Mommy?"  I said, "Umm...Heroes."  She replied, "No, Dr. Feeel (Phil)...you like Dr. Feeeel."  I guess she's more perceptive than I give her credit for! :)

Good News!

Okay, so a lot of you know this already, but for those who haven't heard...I'm pregnant!   After 2 miscarriages last year, this time around has been a little nerve-wracking, but I just had an ultrasound today and there's definitely a healthy baby there.  Good heartbeat, arms, legs, fingers, toes, etc.  I'm in my 11th week, which means not too far from my second trimester, and that will be a relief.  My doctor told me I don't really need to worry anymore, because it looks like everything is going to be just fine.  So it's been a little bit of a rough road the past year, but I think I can relax now, and just be excited for our new little addition in April!  Yay!

Best Friends!

Today Aubrey was sooo excited to have a picnic at the park with her friend Wyatt.  He's been sick for the last couple of days, and she's been dying to play with him, so it was cute to see them play together today.  I started this post by adding some pics of the two of them from today, but then I decided it would be fun to add pics of them since Aubrey was born.  They've been best buds ever since!

Aubrey one day old...meeting Wyatt for the first time!  He was 6 months old.

That's us at Sea World in San Diego when Aubrey was 7 weeks old.

More things Aubrey says...

It's been a month, so I thought I'd write some of the goofy things Aubrey said over the past few weeks.

We were getting ready for church, and Aubrey said she wasn't going.  I asked why, and she said, "I don't fit in with everybody else."  Then she smiled and said, "I know...I'll just be myself!"

Mathis, Aubrey, and I were all reading books together, when Mathis said, "I'm getting chubby."  Without missing a beat, Aubrey replied, "then go on a walk, Daddy!"

Aubrey was playing with her little cousin, Alex.  His mom started changing his diaper, and Aubrey.  She's not used to seeing boys, so she looked at him for a minute, then said, "uh, Alex is broken...(pause)...I just think he's kinda umm broken."

Mathis was putting Aubrey in the car to go to church, and she looked at the car and said, "this is my magic coach!"  Then she turned to Mathis and said, "and you are my coachman!"  After a few minutes of driving she shouted, "We're going to the ball!!!"

Along with the last story, Aubrey is obsessed with Cinderella.  She likes us to call her Cinderella, sometimes instead of Aubrey.  She'll hold out her little hand, palm facing up, and say, "Will you have this dance?"

A couple of days ago, Aubrey and Mathis were playing around in her room.  I wasn't in there, but I laughed when I heard her yelling over and over, "Stop Boy!!! Stop Boy!!!"  What a goofball.

Aubrey was playing with a piece of string, then she tossed it toward me and said, "I will lasso you!"  Lasso?  There's yet another word that I didn't know she knew. :)

Aubrey has been saying this one for a couple of months now, but it's still kinda cute.  She'll stand on top of a stool or toy or something, then pause for a second and say, "is this a good idea?" So far, any time she's asked that, the answer has been no! :)

I was relaxing on the couch with Aubrey, after an afternoon at the zoo.  Out of the blue Aubrey said, "I huwt my feelin's."  Then she thought for a second and said, "I need a band-aid."  I didn't want to get up at the moment, so I told her I would get one later.  Of course, she kept insisting on me getting her a band-aid, and asked several times.  Finally, she threw her head back, then sighed (clearly annoyed) and said, "Just get a stupid band-aid!!!"

A Picture Post.

Here are some pictures of Aubrey.  We went to the zoo on Tuesday with her aunt, cousin and grandparents, and Aubrey had a blast!  Although, she wasn't very good at smiling for the camera.  Oh well.  She was so cute the night before, because she woke up around 10pm after having a bad dream, and I told her that we would go to the zoo the next day.  She couldn't fall back asleep for like an hour, because of her excitement.  She would be quiet for a few minutes and try to fall asleep, then just shoot out of her bed and yell things like, "I can't wait to go to the zoo, Mommy!"  She was jumping on her bed at one point, shouting and squealing, and it was just so funny to see how excited she was about going to the zoo!

Aubrey with Aunt Carrie and her cousin Alex!

Here's some pics of Aubrey from last night.

One day Aubrey came up to me, put her fingers around her eyes like this and said, "look I'm a bat!"  I'm not quite sure why this silly face means she's a bat, but she does "bat eyes" all the time now.  Silly kid!

She likes to dance!

5 Years!!!!

Today is our 5 year anniversary!  I can't believe how fast time flies!  We're going to dinner at The Garden on Temple Square, and Aubrey gets to go play at Grandma Carlson's house. She's always excited about going there, especially since she discovered the trampoline! Anyway, when we went to Cozumel a couple months ago, we said that was our 2nd honeymoon to celebrate our 5th year of marriage, so we don't have huge plans for tonight, just date night, but that's always fun!  So, on the one hand, it seems like we just got married, but then I think about all the things that has happened in the last 5 years, and there's been a lot.  We've lived in 2 different apartments and owned 2 different houses.  I don't even want to think about how many vehicles Mathis has bought over the years. :) I graduated from college, and Mathis started his own business, then last year started a 2nd company.  We've traveled all over the U.S., the Carribbean, and Europe(best vacation ever)! And of course there's that little fireball, Aubrey, who has changed our lives immensely!  We love her so much and can't wait to see the new additions as our family grows over the years!  I'm very thankful for all the joys and blessings we've had over the past 5 years, and I'm so excited for what the next 5 years has in store for us!  Happy Anniversary, Mathis!

Uggg...scrapbooking.

So I started a scrapbook of Aubrey's first 6 months forever ago, but then got half-way done and put it away.  I FINALLY finished it today (I know...what a slacker, since Aubrey is 2 1/2!).  Anyway, I do have all our other photos in photo albums, but the scrapbook was the project that I kept putting off.  Once I started it, I realized how much I DON'T like scrapbooking.  Honestly, I don't see why so many people love it so much.  It's soooo tedious, and then there's the gigantic mess of scrapbooking!  So, I may try digital scrapbooking, since that at least eliminates the mess of it all, but as far as all the cutesy crafty hand-made scrapbooks, I think  I'll pass.  Yeah, so I officially don't fit in with the Mormon culture now, but I just don't really like doing any sort of crafts at all.  First of all, most of them can be bought, and I don't think the extra cost is really that big of a deal, and sometimes buying little crafts is just as cheap as making them.  Gotta love mass production.  Also, crafts and scrapbooks require so many different pens, scissors, fabrics, ribbons, papers, stamps...etc, that its so hard to keep organized when your not using them, and when you are, its the aforementioned MESS!  Finally, making cute little crafty things is so time-consuming, and in my opinion, kinda boring.  So there you have it...I'm not really a fan of anything crafty...BUT I'm really excited that I finally finished Aubrey's baby book!  Yay!!

Aubrey

Okay, it's time for another post about things that Aubrey says.

-Last month she was on a walk with her grandma, and Aubrey's pants kept slipping down.  After a few times of pulling them up, she finally got annoyed and said, "(sigh) I have a skinny butt!"

     - Last week I was fixing one of Aubrey's swimming suit.  I held it up to her body to see if I had measured and pinned it right.  The dull end of a sewing needle poked her a little bit, but nothing bad.  She gasped and said, "Mom, just don't poke little girls!!!"

-One day when I put Aubrey down for a nap, I kissed her and told her not to cry when I leave.  She sat up and said "I just want to cry in my bed."

-This one is kinda long, but a few days ago I was cleaning up Aubrey's toys.  She didn't want me to put them away, so she kept telling me to stop touching her toys.  I kept cleaning, then she walked over to me, put both her hands under my chin, and turned my head so I was looking directly into her eyes.  She started talking in a tone of voice that sounded exactly like a grown up would.  While still holding my chin in her hands, she calmly said, "I asked you not to touch my toys.  Do you understand? Now go in the other room and watch a show."

-Today I scolded Aubrey for not listening, and she quickly replied, "Don't be a turd, Mom!"  I had to call Mathis to find out if he said that around her, which he didn't but we later found out that she learned it from one of her friends she plays with.  Little stinker!

Carlson Look-alike Meter

I was surprised with these results.  When I changed around the pictures, I either got a result that Aubrey was exactly 50/50 between Mathis and I or slightly looking more like one of us.  I thought I would get a resounding, "Aubrey looks like her dad by 100%," but apparently not. :)  Anyway, it's just a fun little test...you guys should try it!

July

Well, I'm finally writing another post.  Where has the month of July gone?  This summer is definitely flying by.  Anyway, I thought I would post some pics from July.  We've been busy with parades, fireworks, carnivals, and camping.  I like July in Utah, because of course everyone celebrates the 4th of July, but then we pretty much to the same thing all over again on the 24th!  The parades and carnivals aren't exactly the most fun thing for me (it's hot and slightly boring) but I like watching Aubrey have so much fun.  If she's happy, I'm happy!

Here's Aubrey just hanging around on the 4th.  :)

Yet another picture of Aubrey getting into something she wasn't supposed to.  Unfortunately for her, what she thought was chocolate was actually baking chocolate.  Yuck! ...and that's why she's crying.

Here's Aubrey camping.  She had lots of fun at camp!

This was at the carnival on Pioneer Day.

My birthday was last week, and Mathis bought me an AWESOME SLR camera!  The best thing was it came with photography classes.  I can't wait to learn about my new toy!  Here's a couple pics from the new camera.
