I thought I'd write a couple little things Aubrey said the last couple weeks. There's nothing too spectacular or funny, but I know her grandma's like hearing her little stories, so here ya go. :)
(Aubrey talking to Mathis)
Aubrey: "Can I bring my dolly-doll downstairs?"
Mathis: "Yes you may."
Aubrey: "NO! Just say 'if you'd like!"
I think it's funny how particular 3-year-olds can be about things that really don't matter. We have conversations like that one all the time!
(Aubrey gave Mathis a hug and said "I love you Daddy!!!")
Mathis: "Thank you!"
Aubrey: "I love Mommy too!"
Mathis: "Do you love the baby?"
Aubrey: "No, I just ABSOLUTELY like him!"
Aubrey was playing the "got your nose" game. She grabbed my nose, then stuck her little thumb between her fingers, , making a fist, then laughed because she had my nose. Then she asked if she could go get Daddy's nose. She walked over to him and told him to bend over. He bent over, and she made a fist, then punched him right in the nose! Neither of us were expecting that, and that was one of the times that we should have disciplined, but it was useless, because we were both laughing at her. Oh well, no parent is perfect. ;)
A couple weeks ago, Aubrey drank a big glass of lemonade, then rubbed her belly and with a big cheesy grin said, "mmmm....that's a-fweshing! (refreshing)" She's constantly picking up new words, and she can be such a cheese-ball sometimes! :)
A few nights ago, I said something that made Aubrey laugh. She grabbed my face in her hands, then shouted, "YOU'RE SOOO STINKIN' CUTE!!!!"
The other day when I asked Aubrey what she wanted for breakfast, she replied, "a scrumpled egg, please."
One day when I picked Aubrey up from nursery, her teacher was laughing, because apparently, Aubrey was chattering on and on about how, "it's so hard being a princess!" Haha, she's such a diva sometimes.
